Youth Fishing Instructor Training, March 24, 2010 from 6-8pm at the Lake McConaughy Visitor Center near Ogallala.
Andrea Faas of the Nebraska Game & Parks Commission will be certifying adults to be volunteer fishing instructors for Nebraska’s Youth Fishing Program.  The training is free but pre-registration is required for any adult who is interested in learning how to put on fishing programs, derby’s or club activities for kids and families.  To learn more about the Youth Fishing Program go to
www.outdoornebraska.org or contact Andrea at andrea.faas@nebraska.gov

Big Mac Sports Club is dedicated to the preservation and enhancement of fishing, hunting and wildlife preservation in Nebraska waters/lands through restoration of riparian habitats and through the education of the public about fishing, hunting and the value of wildlife habitats. Big Mac Sports Club is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization.

Whether you are new to fly fishing, hunting, and wildlife habitat management or have years of experience, you can benefit from membership. If you want to know more about BMSC, come to a few monthly meetings to get acquainted.

Members regularly participate in a variety of educational activities.

  • Conservation & habitat Projects

  • Annual Educational Conclaves

  • Monthly Meetings

  • Fishing Clinics

  • Fly-tying Workshops

  • club shoots

All of these sessions provide opportunities for members to get together. New fly fishers and hunters meet more experienced fishers and hunters. People find others with similar interests.

Learning and teaching the myriad skills associated with fly-fishing, fishing, hunting and wildlife conservation are major attractions for the members of BMSC.

Big Mac Sports Club, recognizing the value of the diversity of organizations involved with fish and wildlife conservation, from time to time publishes information and resources provided by other parties.  This does not imply our endorsement nor does it reflect the official policy of Big Mac Sports Club
